Q.

How and when do I pay for the lessons?

A.

Course Fees are to be paid in full (USD) at PayPal.me/VivLimMusicCA.

Bundle lessons are to be paid upfront in full before the commencement of each 10 lessons. (Your teacher will remind you before every payment is due.)

For Trial/Ad-Hoc Lessons, please make the payment before the start of the lesson.

Q.

Will my lesson be forfeited if I can't make it for any lessons?

A.

Classes are flexible and can be postponed up to two weeks at a time upon request. However, we highly encourage at least 1 lesson per week to maintain student motivation!

We will require a 24h notice if a scheduled lesson needs to be rescheduled, with the exception of illness on that occurs on the day of lessons. If we are not notified at least 3h (for morning classes) or 5h (for afternoon/evening classes), the lesson will be forfeited.

For GROUP Classes, it may still commence but there will not be any extra make-up lessons for the student who misses it.

In the rare event the teacher is unable to make the scheduled lesson, a make-up class will be scheduled. If your teacher has to be away for more than 2 weeks, a relief teacher may teach in their place so lessons can continue.

Note: Long-term students need to notify us at least 2 weeks ahead of time if needing a break from lessons due to exams/work/travel/etc. in order for us to keep your class time slot, and to arrange for any make-up classes before your break.

Q.

How long are lessons?

A.

Music lessons are typically 45mins long for optimal learning time. However, all classes range between 30-60mins depending on the students and class type.

Q.

Do I need my own instrument(s) for the trial lesson?

A.

For all online ukulele lessons, you will need your own ukulele. Please either purchase or borrow one from a friend.

We can recommend and advise on which kind and where to buy one depending on your preferences and budget. :)

Q.

What lesson materials will be provided? Do they cost extra?

A.

Lesson fees cover lots of material including song sheets, reference tracks, song requests and more!

Q.

How often should I take lessons?

A.

For long-term progress, the recommendation is once a week for a minimum period of 10 weeks! However, depending on your goals, it is possible to meet more or less frequently.
