Group Ukulele Course for Adults

With the success of our online ukulele courses, we are proud to present our in-person Group Ukulele Course for Adults in Montreal, Canada - Ukulele Happy Hour (LaSalle Edition)!

• Beginner-friendly: No musical experience required!

• Make music, make friends: Enjoy a fun and social atmosphere.

• Learn to play popular songs: Have fun while learning.

• Small class sizes of only 2-4 students per session for personalized attention. 

• All lesson materials and song sheets will be provided.

• Ukulele Rentals:

  1. In-class: Free ukulele use during class.

  2. Take-Home: Rent a ukulele for home practice. (Details below)

• Lessons are taught in English, although the instructor can speak some French, Mandarin and Cantonese!

Learning Outcomes:

• Basic Ukulele Skills: Learn to tune your ukulele, strum basic chords, and play simple melodies.

• Song Repertoire: Build a foundation of popular songs and traditional tunes.

• Music Theory Basics: Understand basic music theory concepts, including chords, scales, and strumming patterns.

• Performance Confidence: Develop confidence in playing the ukulele in front of others.

• Community Building: Connect with other ukulele enthusiasts and join a supportive community.

Class Dates: Thursdays (Tentative: January 9th - April 24th, 2024)
The start date will be confirmed once the class has at least two registered students.
Time: 10.30-11.15am
Course Fees: CAD 480 per person (16 lessons [CAD 30 per lesson]; tax incl.)
Trial Class: CAD 10 per person

Rent a complete ukulele set to take home for:

• Weekly: CAD 10/week (rental period is 7 days)

• Monthly: CAD 28/month (approximately <$1 per day)

• Course: CAD 40 for a 16-week course (best value - Only $10 per month; available only to students registered for an in-person course)

Rental Terms:

• Weekly rentals are flexible. To ensure your spot, you can renew your rental a day before it's due.

• Monthly rentals run from the 1st to the last day of the month. (pro-rated if starting after the 5th of the month)

• Course rentals start on the first lesson and end on the 16th lesson.

• A refundable deposit of CAD 20 is required.

• Limited sets are available, priority goes to students registered for ukulele courses.
